Chris Brown, CFP® is the managing member of this Durham, North Carolina based fee-only financial planning firm. He works with a wide range of clients in identifying and pursuing their life’s goals and passions. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and has over fifteen years of diverse industry experience.
Chris received his BS in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University. After completing his degree he moved to Nashville, Tennessee to begin his career and also where he met his wife Meredith. After completing her graduate degree, the Browns moved to Durham where they now reside with their son Logan and daughter Evelyn.
The Tarheel State’s beaches, lakes, rivers and mountains have helped Chris easily adapt to living outside of the West Texas Desert. The Browns have also become regulars at Walt Disney World and setting sail on cruise ships. Chris will gladly share his love of the Disney Parks and Disney Cruise Line with anybody willing to listen. Chris is currently the Vice President of Teacher and Staff Support at Logan and Evelyn’s elementary school. Chris has previously been active on the board of Crayons2Calculators and served a four year term as the Chair of the Property Committee at First Presbyterian Church in Durham.
